Epic Beaches In The World

5. Rabbit Beach, Italy

This wonderful beach is located on Lampedusa Island, which is south of Sicily and a popular destination for tourists as well as locals looking to make the most of their time off and the land available. Its seclusion is well-kept from the populations of other densely packed beaches because of access, which is only by boat, making for an exclusive, intoxicating feel. The green-blue water and white sands are home to an annual pilgrimage by loggerhead turtles to lay their eggs, a spectacular phenomenon tourists and locals are encouraged to enjoy, as long as they do not interfere with the process and respect the species. Blue umbrellas are a clear sign visitors have arrived at their destination.
