The next great architectural design on the list is the famous Mushroom House, otherwise known as the Pod House, located in Perinton, New York. This structure has been deemed the Mushroom House for a good reason, as the original owners, the Antells, wanted an artistic building constructed for them. Due to the brownish color and the cap-shaped pods which comprise the living space, this design is reminiscent of fungi. The building has been previewed on various television series, including HGTV, which have shown off the completely glassed windows and concrete support making an impressive and fortified habitat for those willing to live in a forested ravine.
